Of course, as a child, I was captivated by fantasy and magic—who isn’t? A significant creative surge occurred when I began playing Dungeon and Dragons, a role-playing game that felt like stepping into an entirely new realm, a perfect escape from daily life. The experience of creating characters, embarking on adventures, and spending time with my buds was awesome. This was fun we had during a time that would have been miserable for me (long story) was the perfect thing to come into all of our lives and make things better.

The paintings featured here are inspired by the characters my friends and I devised. Each piece feels like a warm greeting to old loved ones in a time when they we were glorious.
