Her story is a mix of beauty and horror. Cursed by Athena because of her beauty, she gains the power to turn people to stone with her eyes. This tale touches on themes of victimhood, tragedy and control. I’ve sold several prints of my digital artwork of Medusa, and the positive feedback on social media shows a growing interest and connection for her character. This connection motivates me to keep exploring where I can take this complex demigoddess further.
