Enéias Tavares' "Serpentes & Serafins", published by Darkside Books, dares to ask this, and the answer is a mesmerizing blend of fantasy, theology, and art. When I was invited to contribute artwork, specifically angels and demons, I knew I was entering a realm where I was completely comfortable. This was a dream project. I channeled the dark romanticism of Anne Rice and the layered symbolism of Tarot to create visuals that resonate with the novel's profound themes. The experience was awesome, a deep dive into the heart of creation and destruction, and the bonus of working with Darkside Books, who are staples of the Horror publication industry in South America. The final result? Imagery that truly complements Tavares' vision, and the type collaboration I will always cherish!
