THE CRAFT

When Blumhouse announced 'The Craft: Legacy,' a modern continuation of the iconic 1996 film, I knew I had to capture its essence in a single, striking poster. This wasn't just about recreating nostalgia; it was about channeling the film's exploration of teenage power and its potential consequences. For this Talenthouse challenge, I moved beyond literal representation, focusing instead on the evocative power of patterns, subtle tones, and gestural graphics. My aim was to distill the film's core themes—the allure and danger of newfound abilities—into a visually arresting composition. This project, one of my first with Talenthouse, became a learning moment in shaping my approach to conceptual design, emphasizing the importance of visual storytelling over just illustration.
