Sometimes, the best way to shut somebody up is to say nothing. Seriously, say nothing and be good at what you do. A perfect case is Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. The manufactured venom toward some of the casting decisions was concerning, especially from those who know better. I addressed this in a previous blog (https://vass-creative.com/blog-native/2026/5/21/its-all-greek-to-me), but now that the movie is out and enjoying the highest accolades at all levels of performance, direction, and story, the vileness abruptly ended. Kudos to the amazing cast and Christopher Nolan for being a class act throughout. When you let the work speak, you will win everytime.
