GRAYSON

Did I tell you that I love DC Comics? I did? Then I’ll tell you again. I love DC Comics. Among my favorite characters in the DC Universe is Nightwing, aka Dick Grayson/the original Robin. Why I love this character? I feel like we grew up together. As he evolved from being Robin to Nightwing to even becoming Batman for a few stints, was just a joy to watch. In addition, his optimism and true need to do good and at the same time, still being good makes you want to cheer for him. Unlike Batman who is defined by tragedy, his character chooses not to be defined in that manner. Is Nightwing flawed? Of course, but he also learns and evolves. 

I chose to blog about this character because I found some drawings that I did back from high school. I combined with some recent images that I composed. I enjoyed the shit out of doing these. I look forward to doing more.
